About me:

I have enjoyed a 35+ year career as a high school mathematics teacher, but am now flexing the other side of my brain—the one where fictional characters come alive and run amok in my imagination.

My wife and I live in southeastern Virginia, where we stay busy updating an old farmhouse and keeping up with our four adult children and (to date) two grandchildren. Most mornings, she patiently listens to my dreams from the previous night and wishes that the people living in my head would start paying rent and stop free-loading.

Lastly, I am extremely salty that I did not receive an invitation to try out to host Jeopardy!, but reluctantly agree that Ken Jennings does an acceptable job.
